Where it all started
Our History
Eastlake High School first opened its doors in 2010 and has become one of the most prominent high schools in El Paso, TX. The Eastlake Band had started as a small ensemble with new first- and second-year students across Horizon City. Eventually, the band expanded to feature a marching ensemble, jazz ensemble, and drumline/percussion program! In late December 2013, the Eastlake HS Fine Arts Facility (Center of The Performing Arts) had officially opened, making it one of the city's most extensive and unique facilities ever built!
Who are we?
The Eastlake Band program consists of various unique ensembles, providing young musicians with a variety of opportunities where they can receive well-rounded music education. The rigorous curriculum allows for optimal growth in music performance, building disciplined habits, and developing life skills.
Achievements
The program has won numerous awards and consistently finishes among the top groups in El Paso. Since 2011, the Falcon Band’s field productions have taken audiences through experiences like Rapids Water Rafting, a Space Odyssey, the Story of a Wolf & The Little Red-Hooded Girl, seeing before a Mechanic’s Eye, Unraveling the lives of two people in love, gazing through the Lunar Cycles, seeing what The Collective can achieve, finding balance and tranquility in Everything In Its Right Place, telling the story of Amor Eterno, and discovering the unknown through Wonderlust.
We take pride in every production, and always stay true to our motto. Today for Tomorrow!
