Nicholas Flood
Associate Director of Bands / Woodwinds
Mr. Flood is in his fourteenth year teaching, spending most of that time in El Paso, Texas. He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Education from Texas Tech University where his primary teachers were David Dees, Brad Leali, and Keith Dye. Prior to joining the Eastlake staff, Mr. Flood was the director of bands at Jackson Middle School in San Antonio and Indian Ridge Middle School in El Paso. Under his direction, the Indian Ridge Jazz Ensemble was a featured performer at the prestigious Midwest Clinic in Chicago, IL and twice at the Jazz Education Network National Conference in Dallas, TX. As a clinician, Mr. Flood has presented at the Texas Bandmasters Association Conference and the Midwest Clinic. Mr. Flood is an active performer and recording artist regularly playing with the El Paso Winds, Borderless Brass Band, and recording for The Rays on Catfood Records.
Caleb Tullius
Associate Director of Bands / Brass
Mr. Tullius is in his 3rd year or teaching, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from The University of Texas at El Paso. As a trumpet player, he has performed with the UTEP Wind Ensemble, Marching Miners, Jazz Ensemble, Mariachi and the Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps.
